Job summary

You will develop Python-based analytics, backtest signals, and present ideas to senior traders, with a Master’s in Financial Engineering and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Financial Engineering or foreign equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant investment/asset management experience.
• Experience with Python modeling and supply-demand for USGC Crude, Cushing, Canada.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine fundamental supply-and-demand models for global crude oil markets.
• Architect and enhance quantitative analytics and data visualization tools using Python and SQL.
• Conduct quantitative analyses of short-term market dislocations and synthesize data sources for trade recommendations.
• Develop data validation frameworks and oversee automated data ingestion pipelines.
• Present proprietary trade ideas to senior traders and portfolio managers.
