Job summary

Bunge is seeking a logistics professional to manage the scheduling and contracting of trucking for packaging loads and inbound supplies. This role coordinates with supply chain, carriers, and 3PL warehouses to ensure timely deliveries and efficient freight management.

Responsibilities include planning shipments, negotiating rates, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in logistics or equivalent
• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or related field preferred
• Proven leadership and management skills within a team environment
• Ability to learn, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and drive a zero-incident culture for employees and contractors
• Ensure plant compliance with corporate policies and procedures
• Manage relationships with carriers and transportation providers for optimal service
• Plan orders from 3PL warehouses, maintain inventories, and coordinate inbound/outbound shipments
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Customer Service to align trucking and rail logistics
• Negotiate traffic rates within preset cost limits and optimize carrier rates
• Populate SAP with load out and inbound details and assist with daily warehouse operations
• Handle after-hours carrier and customer issues and resolve disputes with carriers
