Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a mid-level ION RightAngle Consultant with strong functional and technical expertise in oil and gas trading and risk management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on configuration experience within RightAngle and contribute to solution design, system enhancements, and business process optimization across front, mid, and back-office operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience with ION RightAngle in oil and gas.
• Strong understanding of crude, refined products, or NGL trading.
• Hands‑on RightAngle configuration (deals, pricing, settlement, inventory, scheduling).
• Ability to participate in design decisions.
• Experience supporting implementations, upgrades, or system enhancements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support ION RightAngle modules aligned with crude, refined products, and NGL trading processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Drive and contribute to solution design discussions with alignment to objectives.
• Perform hands‑on configuration including deal capture, pricing, settlements, inventory, and scheduling.
• Support end-to-end testing cycles (SIT/UAT), including test script creation and defect resolution.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution or escalation.
• Work with technical teams on integrations and data flows (e.g., SAP).
• Assist in data validation, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and user support as needed.
