Job summary

Energy Transfer LP seeks a mid-level ION RightAngle Consultant with strong functional and technical expertise in oil and gas trading and risk management. The candidate will contribute to solution design, configuration, and optimization across front, mid, and back-office operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience with ION RightAngle in oil and gas environments.
• Strong understanding of physical and financial trading processes (crude, refined products, or NGLs).
• Hands‑on configuration experience in RightAngle (deals, pricing, settlement, inventory, scheduling).
• Ability to participate in and influence design decisions.
• Experience supporting implementations, upgrades, or system enhancements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Drive and contribute to solution design discussions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and system best practices.
• Perform hands-on system configuration including deal capture, pricing, settlements, inventory, and logistics components.
• Support end-to-end testing cycles (SIT/UAT), including test script creation and defect resolution.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution or escalation.
• Work closely with technical teams on integrations, enhancements, and data flows (e.g., scheduling systems, SAP, or external data providers).
• Assist in data validation, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and user support as needed.

• Configure and support ION RightAngle modules aligned with crude, refined products, and NGL trading processes
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (trading, scheduling, risk, accounting) to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions
• Drive and contribute to solution design discussions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and system best practices

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
