Job summary

ABS Group Consulting is seeking Qualified Auditors to operate as contract team members, supporting the American Petroleum Institute (API). The Auditor will perform QMS audits of manufacturing, oil & natural gas service organizations, with travel to assignment locations as required.

We look for at least four years of technical/quality experience, auditing background, and knowledge of API specs and ISO standards. Training is provided and the roles may become permanent with performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with technical training required.
• Post-secondary degree in a technical field preferred.
• At least four years of technical/quality experience.
• Two years auditing or related professional experience.
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
• Experience in at least five management system audits.

Responsibilities

• Perform QMS audits of manufacturing and oil/gas service organizations.
• Audit against product specifications, performance criteria, and contract requirements.
• Travel to audit locations as required.
• Maintain and improve auditing processes and reporting.
