Job summary

ABS Group Consulting is seeking Qualified Auditors to operate as contract team members. The auditor will perform QMS audits of manufacturing, oil & gas service organizations and support the American Petroleum Institute (API). Travel is required; long-term contractor roles with potential for permanent employment.

Candidates should have at least four years of technical/quality experience, auditing exposure, and knowledge of API specs. Fluency in English and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with technical training; college degree preferred.
• 4+ years of technical/quality work experience; auditing experience or related roles.
• Oil & gas or related manufacturing/service industry background.
• Experience in performing QMS audits against API specs and related standards.
• Familiarity with API Spec Q1 and other quality systems standards.
• Audit training certificates or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QMS audits of manufacturing and oil & gas service organizations.
• Audit against product specs, performance, and contract requirements.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Travel to audit locations as required and maintain safety protocols.
• Support API-related audits and compliance activities.
