Job summary

Wood is seeking a Project Quality Lead for our Houston, TX team. This role reports to the Manager of Project Quality and ensures Wood's quality policies, standards and practices are applied across projects, with emphasis on promoting a strong quality culture and risk mitigation.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of Oil & Gas quality experience, hands-on QA/QC leadership for equipment manufacturing, and knowledge of ISO 9001 and API Q1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of quality experience in Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and API Q1.
• Experience with equipment manufacturing for Oil & Gas.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive Quality culture across the project team.
• Lead QA/QC activities to meet project quality requirements and targets.
• Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
• Review supplier documentation and ITPs; manage NCRs and CARs.
• Oversee fabrication, testing, and inspection of subsea equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues and facilitate audits.
• Prepare audit reports and capture lessons learned.
• Analyze project quality KPIs for continuous improvement.
