Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks an Oil & Gas Assembler to support high-reliability component assembly for demanding oil and gas applications. You will perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly following controlled work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality requirements.

The role requires accuracy, safety focus, and adherence to regulatory manufacturing practices in a detail-oriented environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Experience with hand tools and precision measurement equipment.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

Assemble oil and gas components and sub-assemblies per build-to-print specs and drawings.
Use hand tools, torque wrenches, and specialized assembly tooling.
Assemble pressure-rated components and related hardware.
Follow quality, safety, and cleanliness standards, including stop-work authority.
Complete production and quality documentation for traceability.
Perform in-process inspections and participate in quality checks.
Communicate defects or shortages to leadership.
Support continuous improvement and maintain organized work areas.
Assist training and mentoring new assemblers as needed.
