Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking a Plant Operator to support operations at a Hobbs facility. You will monitor and operate plant equipment, perform inspections, log data, and respond to process upsets while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of Oil and Gas experience; strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ yrs. Oil and Gas experience required.
• Basic understanding of plant equipment, systems, and operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond to changing conditions.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to procedures.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, MVR, drug test (hair follicle, fit for duty and agility).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Perform routine inspections, readings, and data logging of equipment and systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational issues and escape when necessary.
• Assist with start-up, shutdown, and normal plant operations.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding plant conditions.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and coordinate with maintenance teams as needed.
• Keep accurate logs and reports of plant performance and incidents.
