Job summary

WaterBridge is seeking a Land Analyst to process leases, contracts, drafts, and assignments, and to support contract analysts with document preparation and filing in a fast-paced office environment.

The role requires 2+ years in oil and gas land contracts, a bachelor’s degree, and strong MS Excel/Word skills. The candidate will interact with industry partners, manage SharePoint files, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience including Oil and Gas land contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Oil & Gas or Energy fields preferred.
• EP/Operator or landowner experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and oil & gas software.

Responsibilities

• Process new leases, contracts, drafts, and assignments; file setup and data entry.
• Scan checks, letters, notices, agreements, and upload to SharePoint.
• Assist in preparing contracts, agreements, and land documents for partners.
• Review SUAs and track easements affecting lands.
• Research county records and well statuses (TRRC/DrillingInfo); ensure compliance.
