Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Energy Management, Energy Commerce, or a similar discipline.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in Oklahoma City, OK for the duration of the internship.
• Must be returning to school for Fall 2027 semester.

Responsibilities

• Work on an assigned Land Administration summer project culminating in a presentation to Diamondback's executive team.
• Develop knowledge in all phases of Land Administration under mentorship.
• Assist Division Orders and Lease Administration in maintaining acreage, ownership, and agreements.
• Research title opinions, leases, operating agreements, and other title documents to determine obligations.
• Confirm ownership in operated and non-operated wells to ensure contractual compliance.
• Interface with other departments to understand asset-team impacts on business outcomes.
• Participate in on-site field visits to learn about field operations and active drilling activity.
• Participate in intern events and philanthropic activities in Oklahoma City.
