Job summary

TPH&Co., the energy business of Perella Weinberg Partners, seeks a full-time GIS Analyst to join its Integrated Subsurface Team in Houston, TX. You will map land, reservoir, well, and geologic data, create presentation content, and maintain GIS databases while collaborating with geoscientists, engineers, and financial professionals.

The IST focuses on rigorous subsurface understanding to deliver tailored analyses for M&A, A&D, capital solutions, and restructuring within a fast-paced investment

Qualifications

• 1 to 5+ years of GIS Analyst experience in E&P, investment banking, or related entity.
• Degree in GIS, Geography, or similar discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS Pro (data management, editing, spatial analysis).
• Oil and gas data familiarity (well, lease, land data).
• Advanced MS Office usage (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain GIS maps and data with geoscientists and engineers.
• Develop land, lease, and development maps; prepare layouts and slides.
• Support geologic maps, engineering displays, and midstream/infrastructure maps.
• Perform spatial analysis to map inventory, activity, and landing zones.
• Automate workflows with ModelBuilder, Python, and custom geoprocessing tools.
• Produce data room content and vendor/presenter-ready visuals.
• QC and manage GIS databases with version control and metadata.
