Job summary

Goodnight Midstream is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst in Dallas to maintain and enhance our geographic data for the water gathering and disposal network across the Permian Basin, Bakken and Eagle Ford. This role sits at the intersection of land, engineering, operations and technology to drive informed decisions through maps and spatial analytics.

You will develop GIS mapping, manage ArcGIS databases, collaborate with engineering, operations and construction teams, and support project scheduling.

Qualifications

• ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap experience with ESRI apps.
• 2–5 years GIS experience in oil & gas, midstream, utilities, infrastructure, or a related industry.
• Ability to balance technical GIS work with cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership of work.
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GIS mapping, reporting, and spatial analysis solutions
• Manage and enhance ArcGIS and pipeline databases
• Support infrastructure development projects through mapping, scheduling, and project tracking
• Create maps and visualizations that help drive business decisions
• Partner with engineering, operations, and construction teams on strategic projects
• Serve as the primary contact for state one-call requirements and pipeline mapping requests
• Work directly with ESRI to support and deploy applications such as Field Maps and ArcGIS Earth
• Translate complex GIS information into practical insights for stakeholders across the business
• Keep GIS data accurate and current across our water gathering and disposal network in the Permian Basin, Bakken, and Eagle Ford
