A leading oil and gas services provider is seeking a proficient Production Technician to safely operate oil and gas wells and production facilities. This role demands strong technical knowledge for optimizing production performance, alongside a commitment to safety and operational excellence. Tasks include monitoring production, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with teams for optimal well performance. The position requires experience in the oil and gas sector and the ability to manage field operations efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in oil & gas production operations, lease operations, or a related field.
• Familiarity with wellhead operations and production systems.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production and identify variances using SCADA systems.
• Analyze underperforming wells and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct routine site inspections and ensure compliance checks.

Skills

Strong understanding of oil & gas production operations

Ability to troubleshoot wells and production equipment effectively

Knowledge of artificial lift systems

Familiarity with SCADA systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to interpret production data

Knowledge of safety practices

Education
