Job summary

Danos, LLC is hiring for a Lease Operator to oversee oil and gas well operations, testing and maintenance on field equipment. The role includes monitoring multiple sites, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining regulatory paperwork in compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities span various well types and facilities, emphasizing safe practices and environmental procedures to optimize production while controlling costs on assigned properties.

Qualifications

• 2+ yrs. of offshore experience highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record required.
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
• Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, and stopping are required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
• Understanding of environmental and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.
• Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection and water disposal.
• Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection and metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).
• Job is to be performed employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.
• Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.
• Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.
• Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatory agencies.
• General housekeeping and field maintenance.
