Job summary

Crescent Energy seeks a Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field construction activities across West Texas oil and gas sites. You will lead crews and contractors, ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence, and coordinate with Operations, Engineering, HSE, and landowners.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a dynamic operating environment, adherence to company standards, and timely turnover of completed work to Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational training in construction, welding, mechanical systems, pipelines, or related fields preferred.
• Ten or more years of oil and gas, pipeline, industrial, civil, or facilities construction experience preferred.
• Five or more years of experience leading crews, contractors, or field construction activities preferred.
• Experience with production facilities, pipelines, tank batteries, civil work, mechanical construction, and facility commissioning preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily field construction activities involving production facilities, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
• Direct contractors and company personnel to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and per plans and specifications.
• Conduct pre-job meetings, JSAs, tailgate meetings, site inspections, and required safety activities.
• Verify scope, hazards, permits, and safety controls before work begins.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, vendors, inspections, and site access to support project schedules.
• Review drawings and specifications; identify field conflicts or constructability concerns and communicate solutions.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity, material usage, and project progress; address safety/quality/schedule concerns.
• Inspect completed work to confirm it meets company standards and turnover to Operations.
• Coordinate tie-ins, shutdowns, and other work affecting active operations.
• Assist with contractor selection, onboarding, performance evaluation, and enforcement of company expectations.
