Job summary

Permian Resources is seeking a Construction Superintendent in the Permian Basin (Midland, TX; Pecos, TX; or Carlsbad, NM). This hands-on, field-based role is about 80% field time and 20% office time, supervising mechanical, pipeline, powerline, and I&E construction teams.

You will coordinate resources, monitor progress and costs, enforce safety, and work with project engineers to ensure construction aligns with design intent and regulatory requirements. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction management within Oil & Gas.
• Ability to supervise a multidisciplinary team (mechanical, pipeline, powerline, I&E).
• Local to Midland, Pecos, or Carlsbad or willing to relocate.
• Strong communication with project engineers, cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources across sites to keep crews and equipment productive.
• Track progress toward milestones and report status against the schedule.
• Monitor field costs and compare spend to budgets, flag variances and risks.
• Perform final QA/QC checks and manage punch lists before handover.
• Coordinate between Facilities and Production Operations for smooth handover.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture.
• Maintain project documentation and daily progress reports.
• Resolve issues and manage changes to mitigate risks.
