Job summary

Crescent Energy seeks a Category Manager – Production / Operations in Houston to lead category strategies for compression, chemicals, artificial lift, transportation and hauling across multi-basin assets. You will drive cost savings, supplier performance, and continuity of supply while aligning with operations and enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

8+ years of supply chain, procurement, or category management in upstream oil and gas.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field required.
Experience in multi-basin or multi-asset environments preferred.

Develop, implement, and refine category strategies across operating areas.
Lead strategic sourcing events including RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations.
Evaluate market conditions, supplier capabilities, and cost drivers.
