Job summary

HDR in Denver seeks an Oil, Gas, and Chemicals CAD Designer to develop discipline models, generate BIM elements, and deliver piping designs using CADWorx and Plant 3D.

You will coordinate with mechanical, civil, and structural disciplines, maintain model health, support design reviews, and ensure compliance with project scope, schedule, and budgets. 5+ years in related field required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years in related industry work.
• Advanced 3D design software and document management skills.
• Proficiency in 3D coordination tools and CADWorx/Plant 3D.
• Strong Microsoft Office and communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of engineering/architectural concepts.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and specs.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in Mechanical with some Civil/Structural coordination.
• Create and maintain discipline models per DDP scope.
• Produce BIM elements and detailed drawings using CADWorx/Plant 3D.
• Coordinate design health with other discipline models during reviews.
• Monitor Digital Delivery requirements and project alignment.
