Jobot is seeking an accomplished Attorney with experience drafting title opinions for oil and gas matters in Texas. The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctorate and have at least 3 years of relevant practice, with Texas licensure and strong contract analysis skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Texas.
• 3+ years of experience drafting title opinions covering lands in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on oil and gas matters including exploration, production, and sales.
• Draft title opinions highlighting defects, liens, or ownership issues.
• Analyze leases, contracts, and deeds.
• Advise on compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Represent the company in litigation and arbitration.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify legal risks and mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on developments in oil and gas law and industry trends.
• Provide training on relevant legal issues to other departments.
