Job summary

Quick Lube Carolina LLC in Tennessee is seeking a motivated Lube Technician to perform routine vehicle maintenance, primarily oil changes and fluid checks, ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

You will inspect vehicles, maintain a clean work environment, and communicate service recommendations to customers. Training provided for those new to automotive work, with a focus on teamwork and safety. You may also operate the POS system and manage basic inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training provided for those without automotive experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, including draining old oil, replacing oil filters, and refilling with new oil according to vehicle specifications.
• Check and top off various fluid levels and report issues to customers.
• Inspect tires, belts, hoses, and lights and advise customers of potential concerns.
• Lubricate chassis components where applicable.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Communicate service recommendations and vehicle status to customers.
• Operate point-of-sale systems and record service details.
• Assist in maintaining oil, filters, and related supplies inventory.
