Job summary

Take 5 Oil in Virginia is seeking a Lube Tech to perform routine vehicle maintenance in our fast-paced shop. You will conduct oil changes, filter replacements (oil, air, cabin), fluid flushes, and assist with basic inspections while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety protocols.

No prior automotive experience is required, but helpful. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and communicate clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous automotive maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluid flushes, and filter replacements accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and identifying potential issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding recommended services and vehicle maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of waste materials.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in lubrication services.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
