Job summary

Take 5 Oil is hiring a Lube Tech to perform routine vehicle maintenance and lubrication services efficiently and accurately, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and delivering high-quality workmanship.

You will perform oil changes, filter replacements, inspections, and communicate with customers about recommended services, while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior automotive maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and check tire pressure, belts, hoses, and lights.
• Communicate recommended services and vehicle conditions to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and bay.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and tools safely and proficiently.
• Assist in inventory management and stocking of supplies.
• Document services performed accurately and completely.
