Dead River Company in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced propane and/or oil burner technician to install, service, and repair residential and commercial heating systems. You will focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, maintaining customer property and confidentiality.

This role requires on-call participation, adherence to codes, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A high school diploma and CETP or equivalent certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, and repairs of residential and commercial oil/propane systems.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a strong safety focus.
• Valid driver's license and required certifications in States where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots and repairs oil and/or propane heating systems in compliance with codes and company policies.
• Performs efficiency tests, tune-ups, and contract service inspections.
• Keeps a neat, safe service vehicle; reports parts and labor for service calls.
• Participates in night and weekend on-call schedule as necessary.
• Promotes company products and services while advising customers on best options.
• Records and tracks parts inventories and maintains safety standards.
