Job summary

ERP International, LLC seeks Occupational Health & Safety Technicians for full-time support at the Keesler Medical Group, Keesler AFB, MS. The role includes performing industrial hygiene surveys, evaluating environments, and recommending hazard controls in support of DoD operations.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in a related field, OHST/BCSP certification if applicable, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Occupational Health/Safety or related field.
At least 2 years in Occupational Health or Industrial Hygiene or have related education with OHST/BCSP certification.
AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
Ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.

Responsibilities

Conduct workplace industrial hygiene surveys for occupational, environmental, and radiological hazards.
Inspect and evaluate environments to comply with AF requirements and regulations.
Recommend health hazard controls to mitigate hazards.
Assist in environmental sampling and water quality evaluations.
Investigate illnesses and injuries to identify prevention measures.
Ensure fetal protection compliance reviews.
Review materials/ contracts for environmental health compliance.
Participate in occupational health and environmental protection committees.
