Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid Ohio School Treasurer License.
• 5+ years of experience as an Ohio School Treasurer desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as secretary and treasurer for the Board of Education.
• Manage the financial budget and record keeping for the district as required by State Statute.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for each board member showing revenues, expenditures and balances.
• Prepare an annual GAAP financial report for the Board of Education no later than 150 days after fiscal year end.
• Sign purchase orders and contracts certifying that funds are available to pay for purchases.
• Responsible for payroll preparation and payments for district employees.
• Maintain sick leave records for all employees.
• Oversee audits of school or department accounts as required by the Board of Education.
