Job summary

John Deere is seeking an OFP Quality Engineer for weld processes in East Moline, IL. The role focuses on identifying and leading continuous improvement projects across safety, quality, efficiency, and cost metrics in the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining quality control systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and addressing issues with corrective actions.

What Makes You Standout

• Previous shop floor experience working in a union environment
• Experience withCVML, torque tooling, or other mistake proofing tools
• Experience with JDAAT coding and other MES systems (SAP, Ignition,etc)
• Experience with AutoCAD and Creo View software
• GMAW experience & failure modes

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, data analytics,or equivalent related work experience. Others may apply.
