Job summary

Core Group Resources is seeking experienced Offshore Mates for contract roles in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The Mate will assume a leadership position aboard vessels, supporting the Captain in navigation, crew management, and operational oversight during demanding offshore missions.

Ideal candidates hold MMC, USCG Medical Certificate, TWIC, and a valid passport and are ready to participate in rocket recovery missions alongside onshore and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as maritime Mate preferred.
• Strong leadership and safety skills.
• Willingness to travel and participate in mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead vessel operations and support the Captain in navigation and seamanship.
• Manage crew, assign tasks, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with onshore and engineering teams on rocket recovery missions.
