Job summary

Archer Oiltools Ltd in Lafayette, LA, seeks an experienced Toolpusher to lead safe, efficient and compliant drilling, P&A, well-servicing and well-intervention operations offshore, supervising the rig crew and contractors.

You will oversee tripping, drilling, milling, BHA handling, cementing and temporary abandonment activities, ensure well-control readiness, inspect and maintain BOPs and pressure-control equipment, and drive adherence to the approved well program.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a Toolpusher or supervisory rig role.
• Drilling contractor experience, including Plug & Abandonment.
• Experience supervising drilling, workover, cementing and temporary abandonment.
• Modular rig, snubbing or hydraulic workover units experience.
• Knowledge of cementing operations: volumes, displacement, mixing and pumping.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient and compliant drilling, P&A, well-intervention and well-servicing operations.
• Supervise the rig crew, contractors and associated operational activities.
• Oversee tripping, drilling, milling, BHA handling and rig moves.
• Ensure well-control readiness and maintenance of BOPs and pressure-control systems.
• Maintain operational records and support handovers, safety meetings and drills.
