Archer Ltd is seeking a Floorhand to join our offshore drilling crew. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and safe rig floor, support the Driller and wider team in drilling, P&A and well-servicing operations, and assist with cementing, mud systems and rig moves.

Travel offshore by boat or helicopter and work on rotation schedules. The role requires practical problem-solving, strong safety discipline and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew in a demanding field

Qualificações

• 1-2 years' experience in an equivalent Floorhand role.
• Drilling contractor experience, preferably including Plug & Abandonment
• Modular rig experience, snubbing and / or hydraulic workover units
• Experience with hydraulic systems, diesel engines and pumping systems
• Basic knowledge of cementing operations, including volumes, displacement, mixing and pumping

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe rig floor and support the Driller and wider rig team in safe and efficient drilling, P&A and well-servicing operations.
• Assist with mud and fluid systems, including pump operation and maintenance, mud sampling, basic weight/viscosity checks, chemical handling, shale shaker maintenance and screen changes.
• Support cementing activities, including mixing and pumping cement plugs, and post-cementing clean-up.
• Work closely with the Driller and crew, provide task-level guidance to Roustabouts, participate in handovers and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

The Floorhand is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe rig floor and supporting the Driller and wider rig team in safe and efficient drilling, P&A and well-servicing operations. Duties include handling tubulars, operating hydraulic/manual tongs and slips, dressing and maintaining floor equipment, and assisting with BOP installation, high-pressure flow lines, rig moves, rig-up/rig-down and other operational activities.

The role also supports mud and fluid systems, including pump operation and maintenance, mud sampling, basic weight/viscosity checks, chemical handling, shale shaker maintenance and screen changes. The Floorhand may assist with cementing activities, including mixing and pumping cement plugs, and post-cementing clean-up.

The Floorhand works closely with the Driller and other crew members, assists with planning and execution of tasks, providestask-level guidanceto Roustabouts whenassigned by onsite leadership, participates in handovers and meetings, and performs otherjob-relateddutiesasassigned.

The position requires travel offshore via boat or helicopter and for extended periods of time.

Required US Certifications/ Credentials:

Some certifications or credentials may be obtained after hire; however, the ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, credentials, offshore access requirements and customer/site requirements is a condition of employment.

Experience:

• 1-2 years' experience in an equivalent Floorhand role
• Drilling contractor experience, preferably including Plug & Abandonment

• Experience with hydraulic systems, diesel engines and pumping systems
• Basic knowledge of cementing operations, including volumes, displacement, mixing and pumping

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, including standing for extended periods, climbing stairs and ladders, working at heights, lifting/carrying job-related equipment, wearing required PPE and working in outdoor field conditions, including exposure to extreme heat, cold, wind, rain and other environmental conditions.
• Must be able to travel offshore by boat or helicopter and work rotational schedules or extended offshore assignments as required.
• Subject to applicable company, customer and regulatory requirements, including drug and alcohol testing, safety training, site access requirements and fitness-for-duty standards.
