Koil Energy is seeking an Offshore Service Technician to support onshore and offshore project activities from Houston, TX. You will assist with equipment preparation, testing, and maintenance, ensuring procedures are followed and safety is prioritized.

The role includes subsea and umbilical pre-commissioning tasks, record-keeping, and coordination of required spares and hand tools. Offshore deployment and certification readiness are essential for success.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required with 5+ years in oil & gas, subsea preferred.
• Experience with subsea distribution systems and equipment such as umbilicals and flying leads strongly preferred.
• Ability to work offshore for extended periods and obtain offshore survival and medical certification.
• Fluency in English is required as a majority of customers and colleagues communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble pressure testing equipment and perform proof testing.
• Flush equipment to NAS 06 specifications and verify calibration.
• Check electrical test equipment and record serial numbers and quantities.
• Maintain equipment inventory database and ensure certifications are up to date.
• Identify required equipment and spares for a given work scope; carry out pre-mobilization checks.
• Carry out subsea and umbilical pre-commissioning tasks including hydrostatic, electrical, and fiber optic testing; assist with ROV integration and troubleshooting.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain daily operational records and generate job safety analyses (JSAs).
• Repair and maintain equipment as needed and report variations to supervisor.
