Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking a Surveyor II to operate and repair electronic sensors for surface and subsea positioning, supporting real-time vessel and ROV location. The role requires willingness to travel domestically and internationally to offshore sites in the Gulf of Mexico and beyond.

You will install, calibrate, and operate cameras, acoustic systems, sonars, and surface positioning gear, manage data, supervise inventory, and ensure safety of equipment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Two to four years’ experience in the Survey industry as a Survey Professional.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid Passport and other offshore work documents.

Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, and operate surface and subsea sensors for real-time vessel/ROV positioning.
  • Operate cameras, acoustic positioning systems, sonars and surface positioning gear.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and supplies and ensure safety of equipment.
