Job summary

Gulf Island LLC is seeking an Offshore Scaffold Superintendent in Houma, LA to lead scaffold projects offshore. You will coordinate scheduling, yard operations, cost control and communicate with customers, inspectors and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, directing project activities, developing work packs and budgets, and ensuring JSAs and safety protocols are followed on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scaffold Superintendent.
• Ability to pull measurements and read ISO drawings.
• Valid TWIC card.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical and background check.

Responsibilities

• Review project contracts and ensure knowledge of job specs, material requirements, and dates.
• Coordinate and direct project activities with operational personnel to ensure on-time delivery and avoid delays.
• Assist client in developing work packs and budgets and execution sequence.
• Communicate with the Project Manager about scheduling material delivery and costs.
• Review and approve work schedules, material requisitions, and progress reports.
• Work with project managers on production planning, schedules, budgets and progress.
• Assist offshore management in developing and maintaining offshore schedules.
• Ensure completion of Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) and adherence to safety protocols.
• Lead in safety and company policy compliance with foremen and crew.
