Job summary

Qualitech Inspection Repair and Maintenance seeks an Offshore Rigger in Spring, TX to perform rigging, lifting, and slingwork on offshore projects with strict safety standards. You will inspect gear, coordinate with crane operators, and follow lift plans while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with HSE protocols.

The role requires offshore experience, BOSIET/HUET or equivalent training, and willingness to travel offshore on rotational schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven offshore/marine rigging experience required.
• Valid BOSIET/HUET or equivalent offshore survival training.
• LEEA, NCCER or equivalent rigging certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rigging hardware, load calculations, and lifting practices.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Willingness to work rotational schedules and travel offshore.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rigging gear, slings, shackles, and lifting equipment before and after use.
• Coordinate with crane operators and deck crews for safe lifts.
• Follow offshore load charts, lift plans, and rigging procedures.

• Maintain records of rigging inspections, certifications, and equipment condition.
• Adhere to offshore HSE protocols and participate in safety meetings.

Qualitech Inspection Repair and Maintenance is looking for a skilled Offshore Rigger to join our team based out of Spring, TX. Responsibilities:

• Perform rigging, lifting, and slinging operations for offshore equipment and materials in compliance with safety standards


• Inspect rigging gear, slings, shackles, and lifting equipment prior to and after use


• Coordinate with crane operators and deck crews to ensure safe and efficient lifts


• Follow offshore load charts, lift plans, and rigging procedures


• Assist with deck operations, material handling, and equipment positioning on offshore platforms


• Maintain accurate records of rigging inspections, certifications, and equipment condition


• Adhere to all offshore HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocols and participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a rigger in an offshore or marine environment


• Valid BOSIET/HUET certification (or equivalent offshore survival training)
