Job summary

Noble Corporation is seeking a Tour Pusher to provide onboard leadership and oversee the safety, efficiency, and production of the drilling unit. You will implement Noble's safety and environmental policies, manage daily operations, and coordinate with the Rig Manager and team to meet the customer drilling program requirements.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • USCG MODU OIM License, Unrestricted, Surface Units Underway or Surface Units on Location. Working towards Unrestricted License.
  • Strong technical background in drilling operations and support equipment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and management skills.
  • Proficient in office software and company proprietary software.
  • Experienced in marine environmental and hazardous material regulations and procedures.
  • Experienced in offshore marine operations, industrial environment, and drilling operations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks daily and follow-up to completion.
  • Ability to own rig equipment and processes and provide leadership when needed.
  • Excellent customer service skills for all customer types.
  • Completed all training requirements for Assistant Rig Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Directly represent Noble on board the unit and oversee operation, management, and safety offshore.
  • Supervise rig positioning, mooring, and rig movement.
  • Plan and supervise rig activities, maintenance, and fluid management.
  • Coordinate with supervisors on vessel ballast and loading.
  • Order rig supplies and ensure items are available when needed.
  • Make decisions on equipment utilization to protect personnel and equipment.
  • Lead daily briefings with Rig Manager and key personnel.
  • Support safety during adverse weather and emergencies.
  • Conduct daily operations meetings to plan major evolutions for safe operations.
  • Communicate with Operator's site representative to align priorities.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Control drilling rig costs and keep within budget.
