Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an Offshore Material Handler to manage offshore warehouse operations, ensuring inbound receipts, storage, issuing and returns for offshore assets on a production platform. You will help optimize space, track inventory and support safety and sustainability programs within a global 3PL.

Role requires 5+ years in material handling, offshore experience, and aerospace/industrial maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• SAP experience required (PRO Instance specifically).
• Minimum of 5 years material handling and warehousing experience, including heavy equipment.
• Oil & Gas Industry Experience required.
• Offshore Experience required.
• Industrial technical maintenance experience.
• Hazardous material certification.
• Helicopter survival training - THUET w/CAEBS.
• Existing TWIC Card and offshore experience.
• Travel will be required from home location to PHI Heliport in Houma, LA for offshore rotations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills.
• Self-starter and able to prioritize work.
• Cross functional team working.
• Willingness to improve and learn.

Responsibilities

• Receives all work/maintenance materials and consumables and distributes as required.
• Inventories all materials and consumables and tracks movement of inventory based on location and need, including an annual inventory count.
• Optimizes Warehouse Space including placement of fast-moving materials and materials with different storage requirements.
• Stages and issues all materials and consumables, and tracks and verifies availability to various operations teams on and offshore.
• Physically unloads inbound cargo as it arrives on vessels and loads outbound cargo bound onshore.
• Offshore point of contact for material management and supply chain inquiries.
• Participate in asset/company mandated meetings, trainings, and other requirements.
• Supports GEODIS programs for Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Ethics, Compliance, CSR and Sustainability.
