Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an Offshore Material Handler to support offshore warehouse operations on a production platform. You will receive, store, issue and return materials, optimize space, and coordinate shipments for offshore maintenance activities.

Requires 5+ years in material handling with heavy equipment, offshore/oil & gas experience, and a TWIC card. Travel to Houma, LA for 14/14 or 21/21 rotations, 12-hour shifts. Join GEODIS to contribute to safe, efficient logistics offshore.

Qualifications

• SAP experience required (PRO Instance).
• Minimum 5 years material handling/warehousing with heavy equipment lifting.
• Oil & Gas industry experience required.
• Offshore experience required.
• Existing TWIC card and offshore experience.
• Travel to PHI Heliport in Houma, LA for offshore rotations (14/14 or 21/21) with 12-hour shifts.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills.
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize multiple activities.
• Cross-functional teamwork and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Receives all work/maintenance materials and distributes as required.
• Inventories all materials and tracks movement of inventory annual counts.
• Optimizes warehouse space and placement of materials.
• Stages and issues materials and tracks availability for offshore/onshore teams.
• Physically unloads inbound cargo and loads outbound cargo to vessels.
• Offshore point of contact for material management and supply chain inquiries.
• Participates in mandated meetings, trainings and programs.
• Supports GEODIS safety, health, environment, quality, ethics, compliance, CSR and sustainability programs.
