Job summary

GEODIS seeks an Offshore Material Handler to manage offshore warehouse operations on a production platform. Responsibilities include inbound receipt, storage, issuing and returns, and ensuring materials are delivered to offshore maintenance teams on time and in the right quantities.

Required: 5+ years in material handling, offshore experience, SAP experience, TWIC card, and offshore travel. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential in this demanding role on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years material handling and warehousing experience, including heavy equipment lifting and movement.
• Oil & Gas industry experience required.
• Offshore experience required.
• TWIC card and offshore experience.
• Travel to PHI Heliport in Houma, LA for offshore rotations (14x14 or 21x21).

Responsibilities

• Receives all work/maintenance materials and distributes as required.
• Inventories all materials and consumables and tracks movement of inventory.
• Optimizes warehouse space for fast-moving and special storage materials.
• Stages and issues materials, verifies availability to offshore operations.
• Unloads inbound cargo from vessels and loads outbound cargo onshore.
• Acts as offshore point of contact for material management and inquiries.
