Job summary

L & T Case Equipment Private Limited is seeking a corrosion engineer to execute material and corrosion activities across offshore oil & gas projects. The role involves developing corrosion control philosophies, preparing MSR and material specifications, and supporting procurement, fabrication, and commissioning with robust documentation.

The candidate will review vendor submissions, assist in root cause analyses, and ensure compliance with project specs and applicable standards.

Qualifications

Experience in offshore oil & gas projects is preferred.
Ability to prepare and review Material Selection Reports (MSR) and Corrosion Control/Monitoring Philosophies.
Assist in technical specifications and vendor document reviews.
Maintain engineering records and project documentation.

Responsibilities

Execute material and corrosion engineering activities across piping, equipment, valves, structures, and process systems.
Develop and review corrosion mitigation strategies and monitoring plans.
Review vendor submissions and assist in fabrication, construction, and commissioning phases.
Support procurement through technical bid evaluations and document reviews.
Participate in technical reviews and interdisciplinary meetings.
