Job summary

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation seeks an Outside Mechanic for Freeport, TX. You will maintain and repair mechanical equipment aboard Fuel, Derrick, Anchor and Drag barges to support safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and coordinating repairs with service vendors while complying with USCG and ABS standards. Travel to multiple project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing onboard mechanical equipment on vessels.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on barge equipment.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements specific to marine operations.

Responsibilities
