HORNBECK OFFSHORE OPERATORS LLC is looking for an HVAC Technician to install, retrofit, and repair marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems on Offshore Supply Vessels and related facilities. The role requires knowledge of HVAC theory, pipe fitting, electrical and mechanical layouts, and coordination with crew and the HOS Tech team.

Candidates should have an A.A. in HVAC or 2–5 years' equivalent, English fluency, EPA Universal Technician certification, and TWIC.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, or 5 years apprenticeship.
• Experience: One to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commercial HVAC and Marine HVAC experience required.
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification.
• Valid drivers license, passport, and TWIC card required.

Aufgaben

• Install, retrofit and repair marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Survey jobs and determine if repairs can be done in-house or require third party support.
• Prepare for on-site installation by examining vessel layout and coordinating on-site work.
• Document work by completing paperwork and maintaining files; order parts as needed.
• Communicate effectively with vendors on technical issues and ensure safety procedures are followed.
