Job summary

Hornbeck Offshore seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to support vessel HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role involves on-board repairs, preventive maintenance, and coordination of parts and materials, ensuring service details align with engineering specs.

Applicants should have an HVAC background with marine experience; EPA Universal Technician Certification and a valid TWIC are preferred. Travel aboard vessels may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent HVAC training.
• 1–2 years related experience; marine HVAC experience preferred.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification; TWIC; driver's license; passport helpful.

Responsibilities

• Repair vessel HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Interpret drawings and schematics to determine parts and procedures.
• Perform on-board installation and repairs; prepare for service.
• Document work and order parts as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental guidelines.
