Job summary

A leading offshore construction firm in Rhode Island is looking for a professional experienced in Offshore Construction Management. The successful candidate will coordinate maritime logistics and ensure safety offshore. Key qualifications include GWO certification and strong analytical skills. You will manage contractor communications, ensure project schedules align, and oversee logistics activities. This role demands a structured and proactive approach, suited for individuals with a solid track record in offshore project execution.

Qualifications

  • Must have a good understanding of Offshore Construction Management.
  • Experience in structured and analytic work processes.
  • Fully GWO certified with Chester step certification.

Responsibilities

  • Align interfaces between contractors for the project.
  • Manage maritime logistics for the Array Cable Contractor.
  • Ensure a safe working environment offshore.
  • Act as a single point of contact between various project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate load-out activities with the OCI department.

Job description

  • Aligning the Interface between CON Package and ACS+T Contractors
  • Ensuring the maritime logistic for the Array Cable Contractor according to contract
  • NCR management during termination scope
  • Ensure a safe working environment offshore
  • Ensure implementation of previous LLs related to the termination scope into the project
  • Ensure registration of LLs related to the termination scope
  • Single point of contact between Termination supervisors, Termination contractor and Technical Scope Manager
  • Defining the Package requirements for tendering of the maritime LGS for ACS+T Package by CON
  • Defining the Contractors needs for Offshore Works
  • Ensure all load-out activities are coordinated with the OCI department and incoterms, tests, hand-over certificates are properly aligned
  • Ensure the project schedule (including OCI) is fully aligned with the offshore termination scope
  • Ensure LGS relevant activities are fully understood and aligned (e.g. lifting, storage, vessel facilities, rescue concept, crew change, tools, HSE needs, material Flow from/to Site) are aligned and planned in before mobilization

Mandatory:

  • Good understanding and experience of Offshore Construction Management and Termination/Testing works
  • Working in a structured and analytic way
  • Fully GWO certified + Chester step
