Job summary

Genesis Energy, LLC seeks Offshore Instrumentation & Electrical Technician Trainees for its Offshore Pipeline Division in Houma, LA. This role supports installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems on offshore platforms while training on the job in a 14/14 rotation.

Ideal candidates are safety-focused, eager to learn, and able to work in challenging offshore environments. Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills will help.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Safety-focused attitude and willingness to learn.
• Mechanical aptitude and dexterity with tools.
• Ability to read safety procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
• Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing).
• Willingness to work overtime and in confined spaces.
• Subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems on offshore platforms.
• Work in offshore environments on a 14/14 rotation.
