Job summary

Danos is seeking Offshore Mechanics in Houma, LA to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on offshore facilities. The role operates on a 14/14 schedule and requires strong technical skills, safety awareness, and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of equipment.

The ideal candidate has offshore mechanic experience, is comfortable working in a team, and prioritizes compliance and operational excellence while maintaining equipment such as compressors, generators, pumps and subsea gear.

Offshore Mechanics are needed by Danos to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on offshore facilities near Houma, Louisiana. This role involves working a 14/14 schedule and requires strong technical skills, safety awareness, and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of equipment. The ideal candidate will have significant offshore mechanic experience and be comfortable working in a team environment with a focus on compliance and operational excellence.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work a 24/7 callout schedule
• 5+ years of mechanic experience, preferably offshore
• Ability to commute daily to work location (no housing provided)
• Strong technical mechanical skills
• Safety-oriented mindset
• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot compressors, generators, pumps, and subsea equipment
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
