Job summary

Ørsted is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional to support our North-East offshore wind farms in Setauket, NY. You will commission, maintain, and troubleshoot high and low-voltage equipment while ensuring safety compliance under Ørsted Electrical Safety Rules (ØESR).

This role involves significant offshore work and participation in safety procedures while collaborating within the High Voltage Transmission System team. Candidates must have at least five years experience working at substations and are required to undergo further training.

Qualifications

• At least five years of electrical working and maintenance experience at substations.
• Experience in performing switching operations on high-voltage transmission assets.
• Ability to work shift-patterns and offshore service operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety by isolating, earthing, and switching high and low-voltage equipment.
• Undertake preventive and corrective maintenance of high-voltage substation assets.
• Perform troubleshooting on SCADA or local control systems.
