Job summary

Orsted Germany is seeking an experienced individual to support its North-East program of offshore wind farms. The role involves commissioning, maintaining, and operating high and low-voltage equipment, with a focus on safety and compliance with Ørsted's Electrical Safety Rules.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in electrical maintenance within substations, be qualified in high-voltage operations, and be prepared to work shift patterns, including offshore trips.

Qualifications

• At least five years of electrical working and maintenance experience at substations.
• Qualified to operate under company's HV Safety Rules.
• Able to perform switching operations on high-voltage transmission assets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety by isolating high-voltage and low-voltage equipment.
• Undertake preventive and corrective maintenance on substation assets.
• Perform troubleshooting using alarm signals on SCADA or local systems.
• Manage outages and network control in collaboration with personnel.
• Lead contractors and coordinate safety procedures in substations.
