Job summary

IPT Global is seeking field-based personnel with offshore rig experience to support SureTec deployment for pressure testing, BOP compliance, and equipment health monitoring. You will verify regulatory compliance, review maintenance records, and assist operators across multiple regions.

Role involves offshore travel, training rig crews, and coordinating with 24/7 monitoring teams to ensure safety and accuracy of data. A degree is not required, but hands-on rig experience is essential.

Qualifications

• BOP compliance knowledge including API 53 and regional rules.
• Experience reviewing maintenance, inspection, or certification records.
• Offshore/rig-based experience in roles such as driller, toolpusher, or well test operator.
• Hands-on knowledge of BOP and well control equipment and pressure testing.
• Ability to communicate with everyone from the floorhand to the company man.
• Current or obtainable BOSIET/HUET, TWIC, and passport.

Responsibilities

• Go offshore domestic and internationally to set up, run, and troubleshoot SureTec for pressure testing and compliance.
• Verify BOP compliance across the full equipment lifecycle, including testing, records, and certifications.
• Review test results and equipment data in real time, flag leaks, anomalies, or overdue maintenance.
• Use SureTec health monitoring to track BOP condition and identify gaps before findings.
• Make sure BOP records are complete, audit-ready for regulators and clients.
• Train rig personnel and help new customers get comfortable with SureTec.
• Work with 24/7 real-time monitoring team to support operations around the clock.
• Lead by example on safety.

Know your way around a rig floor? We want you.

We're looking for field-tested people who know how rigs actually run, understand what BOP compliance really takes, and can deliver service crews will remember.

What You’ll Do

• Go offshore domestic and internationally to set up, run, and troubleshoot SureTec for pressure testing, equipment health monitoring and compliance.
• Verify BOP compliance across the full equipment lifecycle. That includes pressure and function testing, inspection and maintenance records, component certifications, and recertification intervals.
• Confirm BOP systems meet operator requirements, API Standard 53, API Spec 16A/16D, and regional regulations, including BSEE (US Gulf of Mexico), Havtil/NORSOK D-010 (Norway), and ANP (Brazil).
• Review test results and equipment data in real time, and flag leaks, anomalies, overdue maintenance, or out-of-spec components before operations move forward.
• Use SureTec equipment health monitoring to track BOP condition and component history, and identify compliance gaps before they become findings.
• Make sure all BOP records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready for regulators, operators, and drilling contractors.
• Support customers during regulatory inspections, third-party verifications, and internal audits by walking through records and explaining how compliance was demonstrated.
• Help rig teams understand changing regulatory requirements across regions and how SureTec helps them stay ahead.
• Be the go-to expert for the crew. Walk them through results, answer questions, and keep the job moving.
• Train rig personnel and help new customers get comfortable with SureTec.
• Work with our 24/7 real-time monitoring team to support operations around the clock.
• Report back what you see in the field so our products keep getting better.
• Lead by example on safety.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• Working knowledge of BOP compliance requirements, including API Standard 53, and experience with regional regulatory
• Experience reviewing BOP maintenance, inspection, or certification records
• Demonstrable offshore or rig-based experience in a role such as subsea tech, BOP tech, driller, assistant driller, toolpusher, well test operator, or similar.
• Hands-on knowledge of BOP and well control equipment and pressure testing.
• The ability to communicate with everyone from the floorhand to the company man.
• Basic computer skills. We'll train you on our software.
• Current or obtainable BOSIET/HUET, TWIC, and passport.

A degree is not required. We value rig experience as much as classroom training.
