Job summary

IPT Global, based in Houston, TX, seeks a Field Engineer to support client field operations offshore and internationally. You will coordinate well control equipment, testing, and field installations, troubleshoot field technology, and ensure safe, high-quality service delivery.

The role requires travel up to 75% offshore/international and on-call rotation. Strong customer service, adaptability, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Ability and willingness to receive the yellow fever vaccination.
• Ability to maintain safety/training certifications for field responsibilities.
• On-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance.
• Ability to work offshore and travel by helicopter/boat.
• TWIC and HUET/BOSIET certifications required.
• U.S. passport or ability to obtain one.
• Medical examinations clearance for offshore work.
• Willingness to travel globally on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a visible safety leader at client sites and participate in safety programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage well control equipment and well barrier testing operations.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to streamline testing operations.
• Monitor and document testing processes for surface and subsea operations.
• Create BSD files, wellbore schematics, and test plans.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage equipment and network installations in field environments.
• Troubleshoot basic network issues on offshore rigs and escalate as needed.
• Follow established processes to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
• Develop understanding of client needs and identify opportunities to enhance support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
