Job summary

UTM Consultants are seeking a Fabrication Inspector in Poland for a 4 month contract. You will ensure structural fabrication and mechanical systems meet Employers requirements, review drawings and procedures, and monitor contractor work with the Fabrication Manager.

You will perform spot checks on welds, NDT, surface treatment, and ensure compliance with safety and project milestones. The role requires at least 5 years in welding, NDT and coating for offshore structures, OSS preference, and

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in Welding, NDT, and Coating for offshore structures, preferably OSS.
• Valid GWO certification and Polish Medical.
• Frosio Level 3 certifications for Welding, NDT, and Coating.
• Experience offshore with rotation is required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with client guidelines, standards and local requirements.
• Liaise with Fabrication Manager on quality matters and inspect scope.
• Ensure fabrication and systems are made to Employers' requirements and specs.
• Monitor contractor steel works and surface treatment per programme and milestones.
• Identify issues for certifying body inspections and report interfaces and risks.
• Contribute to project evaluation and capture lessons learned.
• Review Employers Requirements and design drawings; review contractor ITP, WPS, PQP, NDE and coating.
